Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking a Correctional Associate Warden of Operations at Carteret Correctional Center in Carteret County. Reporting to the Warden, the role oversees 24-hour facility operations and supervises captains, lieutenants, sergeants, and staff to maintain safety and order.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong supervision skills, and knowledge of programs that aid offender rehabilitation; NC benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of housing for male offenders at a minimum custody facility
• Provide guidance on prison policies with supervisors
• Direct and structure work of captains, lieutenants, sergeants, correctional officers and staff during extended absences of the Warden
