Job summary

V2X is seeking an Operations Center Specialist to oversee LOGCAP program functions across assigned areas of responsibility. You will work under the PMO Director of Operations to support day-to-day operational oversight and ensure alignment with common work processes and procedures.

The role requires coordination with functional managers, monitoring performance, and contributing to strategic planning and forecasting for operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; six years in operations or travel-related roles required.
• CAC eligibility and/or ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Experience: Minimum of six (6) years in operations or related V2X experience in a travel-related role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Functional Area Managers and team members to manage objectives.
• Monitor department managers' performance and ensure timely CDRL submissions.
• Participate in development of functional strategy and forecasting for operations.
• Provide considerable autonomy in completing projects for site or Task Order leadership.
• Develop, implement, and apply effective management control procedures.
• Ensure quality standards are applied and measured for effectiveness.
• Establish policies and procedures for performance and supervision of business management functions.
• Support planning efforts and monitor contractual performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is in support of LOGCAP

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Operations Center Specialist is responsible to PMO Director of Operations for the day-to-day operational oversight of all LOGCAP Program functions at his or her assigned AOR. Maintains a functional awareness of all PWS areas and assists the Program Management Team with the development and implementation of common work processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the management of functional objectives through coordination with Functional Area Managers and team members.

• Monitors the performance of department managers and supervisors and ensure submission of CDRL reports and other tasks, as required.

• Participates in the development of functional strategy and forecasting along with research and development for operational planning.

• Possesses considerable autonomy in completing projects for site and / or Task Order leadership

• Develops, implements, and applies effective and efficient management control procedures.

• Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.

• Establishes policies and procedures for performance and control of all company business management functions and the management and supervision of technical support.

• Supports detailed planning efforts and assists with monitoring contractual performance.

• Performs Other Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or related discipline is preferred

• May be required to obtain CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

• Experience:

• Minimum of six (6) years' experience in operations or other related V2X experience in Travel Related role in a corporate or contingency operations environment

• Skills:

• Strong organization, communication (verbal/written) skills, and attention to detail.

• Requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).

• Must be able to multi-task proficiently while meeting short suspense for both scheduled Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and unscheduled reports/tasks.

• Mandatory Job Qualifications for V2X LOGCAP positions:

  As a precondition to charge more than 50% of their time to LOGCAP, must be able, willing and ready to deploy to domestic and international locations, including on a temporary basis and / or as a member of the V2X Rapid Deployment Team (RDT). These locations can include austere, remote, and hazardous areas where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
