The Avgi Organization, a real estate company expanding its back-office automation, seeks a practical automation lead. You’ll own AP automation day-to-day, map current workflows, fix issues, and expand AI-driven processes across departments.

You don’t need to be a software engineer; you’ll work with teams, write simple guides, and train others to use automations and reports. Experience in AP or operations and with AppFolio/Yardi/Buildium is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in accounts payable, accounting operations or property management operations.
• Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium or similar.
• Track record of automating your own work (Excel, Zapier, Airtable, Power Automate, scripts or AI tools).
• Daily use of Codex or Claude Code, and curiosity about what they can do.
• Obsessive accuracy with software systems, and patience to find root causes.
• The ability to explain problems clearly to non-technical people.

Responsabilités

• Own our existing AP automation: keep it running, fix what it gets wrong, and improve it over time
• Be the go-to person when something looks off, and dig until you find out why
• Map how accounts payable, tenant charges, vendor paperwork, maintenance and reporting work today, then automate them one step at a time
• Build new reports and automations with AI tools
• Train the team and write simple how-to guides
