Job summary

DawnTaylor Associates in New York City seeks a Trade Operations Associate to support trade processing for domestic and international markets. The role includes allocations, bookings, confirmations, and lifecycle management through settlement, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in Operations, Middle Office, Settlements or Trade Support, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, and strong communication skills; licenses like Series 7/SIE

Responsibilities

Ensure timely trade allocations and bookings for domestic and international trades.
Process client trade confirmations to ensure proper delivery and settlement.
Manage trade life cycle from booking and matching to settlement.
Maintain client static data including settlement instructions and commissions.
Perform daily reconciliation of all recorded trades.
Ensure regulatory compliance by accurately recording fixed income trades (TRACE).
Open new client accounts, including sub-accounts and managed funds.
Assist in onboarding new client accounts.
Create JIRA tickets for issue tracking and facilitate UAT and regression testing.
