Sentinel Group is recruiting an entry-level Operations Associate to join our Operations Team. The role offers hybrid work in Wakefield, MA or Troy, MI or remote, with a focus on payroll processing, rollover activities, and loan payoff operations.

You will learn and support core Inflow processes, maintain accuracy, and contribute to team projects to improve capacity and timeliness. A proactive mindset and attention to detail are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Payroll, rollover, and loan payoff operations.
• Monitor, process, and reconcile payroll files in recordkeeping systems.
• Initiate funding requests and reconcile deposits for payroll contributions.
• Generate and review payroll reports.
• Process and post payroll contributions, rollover, and loan payoff transactions.
• Perform cash reconciliation with custodial partners.
• Quality control reviews of data per standards.
• Identify discrepancies and potential errors before downstream impact.
• Collaborate with teammates and internal partners to resolve issues.
• Communicate items that may affect payroll processing to the team.
• Participate in process improvements and special projects.
