As our Operations Associate II, you will handle all in-depth research regarding patient’s self-pay, insurance and/or bad debt balances. Every day you will effectively explain policies and procedures, refer each account for proper resolution, and provide feedback to the department where the concern originated via the CU or Host system. To thrive in this role, you must be able to work independently, accomplish goals, and possess excellent customer service and communication skills, creativity, patience, and flexibility.

Here’s what you will experience working as an Operations Associate II:

  • You have basic knowledge of EOB’s, CPT & ICD-9&10 codes, HCFAs, UB04s, HCPCS, DRGs, and authorizations/referrals.
  • You will review and interpret Patient Statements, balance, and have basic knowledge of Client Contractual Terms/Agreements (as needed).
  • You will obtain supporting documentation regarding Patient/Client follow-up efforts.
  • You can identify Contractual & Administrative Adjustments.
  • You will assist & resolve Patient inquiries/requests within a 24-48 hour period.
  • You will understand various insurance payor processes.
  • You have a working knowledge of EPIC and HIPAA.

Required Skills:

  • High School diploma
  • 2 years of billing experience

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $15.45 - $24.29 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
