Job summary

Nox Metals is hiring an Operations Associate in Detroit, MI to work closely with the General Manager across the factory floor and office. The role is not a standard 40-hour job and requires hands-on problem solving to keep operations moving from quote to ship.

You don't need a manufacturing background; candidates from finance, engineering, or supply chain who are willing to work hard and learn fast will excel. This in-person role offers equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• You must be thorough and finish the job with checked work.
• Demonstrate high initiative and proactive problem solving.
• Comfortable on a factory floor and with production teams.
• Strong communication with managers on issues and fixes.
• Ability to analyze capacity, labor hours, and on-time shipping.

Responsibilities

• Learn the full operation from quote to ship and identify bottlenecks.
• Keep the GM organized by tracking priorities and follow-ups.
• Own end-to-end projects from problem to fix.
• Analyze operation metrics to justify actions and improvements.
• Collaborate with shift leads, quality, receiving, and shipping to meet daily targets.
• Step in where needed on floor or in the office.
• Follow and improve SOPs.
