Job summary

Nox Metals is seeking an Operations Systems Product Manager to own the software that runs inventory, planning, production, quality, and shipping on the factory floor in Detroit, MI or Los Angeles, CA. You will observe real work, identify bottlenecks, and design workflows that improve reliability and throughput while coordinating across software, training, and equipment.

You will lead delivery from discovery to rollout, measure usage and performance after launch, and maintain thorough

Qualifications

Interest in operational complexity and problem solving.
Ability to map work on the factory floor.
Clear ownership and data integrity.
Communicates with operators and software engineers.

Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for inventory, planning, production, quality, and shipping workflows.
Observe operators on the factory floor and map how work happens.
Define requirements, exceptions, and success metrics with engineering and operations.
Prioritize improvements based on safety, reliability, throughput, and delivery impact.
Design workflows that stay clear under unusual or high-pressure situations.
Lead product delivery from discovery through rollout and adoption.
Measure system usage and operational performance after launch.
Maintain clear documentation and decision history.
Coordinate changes across software, training, process, and equipment.
Build trust with users by responding quickly when systems fail.
