Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, NJ, is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician 3. The role performs testing of circuit card assemblies, module assemblies, cables, and integrated systems, interpreting test results and ensuring product performance.

A US Secret clearance may be required in this bargaining position. You will read assembly drawings and mechanical drawings, perform verification/validation, and troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level using various test equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• 2 + years of formal electronic technology training
• Ability to interpret complex assembly drawings, electrical diagrams, and processflows/standards.
• Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits to the component level, usingtest equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, frequency generators, logic analyzers, spectrum and network analyzers
• In-depth knowledge of IPC-610 and/or J Standard 001.

Job Description:

The Operations Associate is a bargaining represented position and responsible forreading and interpreting test procedures and electronic schematics to perform testing ofcircuit card assemblies, module assemblies, cables, and integrated systems. Interprettest results to assure product performance integrity, as well as troubleshoot digital,analog, and RF electronics to component level as required. Perform mechanicalassembly with minimal supervision by reading and interpreting mechanical assemblydrawings, processes, and flows to assure proper assembly and perform any requiredverification/validation of mechanical assembly.

Essential Functions:

• Assembly of complex mechanical systems/products
• Testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies & systems
• Extensive experience in electronic assembly, hand soldering and self-inspection.
• In-depth knowledge of IPC-610 and/or J Standard 001.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance

Qualifications:

• One (1) or more years of experience in high tech electronics environment
• One (1) or more years of experience in manufacturing
• Completion of a certified technical school training
• Familiar with building rack/cabinet/console assembly.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $32.73. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
