Job Description

This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products.

Essential Functions

• Performs a variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature
• Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts
• Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches
• Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
• Uses Microsoft Office programs
• Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements
• Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced, flexible production environment
• Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks
• Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 10 hours)
• Able to transport up to 25 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• No Travel requirements
• No Security Clearance required

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior or relevant experience or 2 years post‑Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience

Salary and Benefits

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $36,920 - $54,000. Final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company‑paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
