Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an Operations Associate to support the Livermore, CA office and provide remote support for other facilities. You will greet visitors, answer phones, manage offices and coordinate meetings, events and access control, ensuring confidentiality and high service levels.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a corporate office, are US-work eligible, and proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a corporate office – technology industry preferred.
  • 2+ years of office management experience.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Experience coordinating large and small events.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to support both internal and external customers.
  • High attention to detail – ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
  • Adept at handling interruptions and multi-tasking during high-volume periods.
  • Must exercise the utmost discretion due to the confidential nature of many visitors or tasks assigned.
  • Outgoing personality with top-notch organizational, time-management and follow-up skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors in front reception and show them to their meetings/hot desks as needed.
  • Answer phones and communicate messages to the proper employee/department.
  • Assist in maintaining the kitchen, supply closet, copy area, and safety equipment including coordinating with the Workplace Experience Manager to source and purchase supplies.
  • Coordinate with the Workplace Experience Manager to anticipate needs for meetings or events.
  • Handle the setup and deactivation of building access cards, keys and passes for employees.
  • Coordinate with property management for building access.
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of conference rooms and lunches for the management team.
  • Manage inbound/outbound mail for Livermore, CA office via UPS and USPS.
  • Assist in notifying Livermore, CA office employees of alerts from Property Management.
  • Ad hoc facility projects, assisting with Indirect procurement contracts, facility presentations, etc.
  • Embrace and Support Computacenter’s mission and core value.

Operations Associate

About the role

As an Operations Associate you will work closely with the local management team and assist in providing support with general office administration for the Livermore, CA office. You will also provide remote support for other facilities as needed. Your professionalism is vital to make our customers, vendors, employees and guests feel like their needs, concerns and questions are taken care of.

Annual compensation: $65K USD

What you'll be doing
  • Greet visitors in front reception and show them to their meetings/hot desks as needed
