Job summary

Pembroke & Co. is seeking a Video & Data Analyst to support our operations by reviewing transaction data, video feeds, financial reports and social media reviews for multiple establishments. You will identify patterns, investigate discrepancies, and deliver actionable insights to clients.

This role combines in-office work Monday-Thursday with Fridays remote. Local candidates in the Boston area or those planning relocation are encouraged to apply, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, psychology, criminal justice, or related field.
• Experience in restaurant or retail leadership, loss prevention, law enforcement, human resources, customer service, legal services, or consulting.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with an investigative mindset; delivers actionable insights to clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review and analyze video surveillance and POS transaction data for discrepancies, internal theft, fraud, etc.
• Analyze business trends through video surveillance to determine ways the business can improve sales, customer counts, shrink, profits, and the customer experience.
• Monitor for social media reviews through numerous platforms for information tied to sales, brand reputation, and customer satisfaction.
• Compile and deliver reports of findings with detailed information and still pictures.
• Conduct pre-delivery reviews of reports for accuracy and value, utilizing discretion and independent judgement.
• Meets deadlines and deliverables consistently, while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests from clients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Additional tasks as required.
