Job summary

Calvis, a security-tech startup, is seeking an operations/CS professional to join a lean team. You’ll be the connective tissue between agencies, guards and our AI-native platform, shaping how shifts run and how reports are completed.

You will work closely with the Head of Ops in a six-person team, coaching admins by phone or email, validating documents and timesheets, and helping expand guard coverage while pushing automation across processes.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in operations, account management, training, or customer service, ideally at a tech/software company with an offline or physical-world component.
• Comfortable with phone and email communications with agency admins.
• Organized and able to manage many moving pieces without slip.
• Bonus: interest in automating manual work.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers who cancelled bookings to understand why and spot patterns.
• Phone with agency admins (and guards) to coach them through stats and improvement.
• Collect and validate documentation, keeping expirations up to date.
• Handle some inbound and outbound calls, including margin calls.
• Validate guard timesheets for accuracy and push on accounts receivable when needed.
• Work with agencies to grow the number of guards on the platform and train them to use it.
• Own milestone conversations and build relationships with guards and agencies.

The role

• Own milestone conversations — recognize guards and agencies hitting big milestones and build the relationship along the way.

Who you are

• Comfortable being on the phone and in email with agency admins.
• 4-6 years of experience in operations, account management, training, or customer service — ideally at a tech/software company with an offline or physical-world component.
• Organized enough to keep a lot of moving pieces straight without letting things slip.
• Bonus: genuinely excited about finding ways to automate manual work.
