PGA of America is seeking Seasonal Operations Assistants to support the 2027 PGA Championship at Fields Ranch (East Course) in Frisco, Texas. You will assist with setup, daily operations, and teardown, working outdoors and potentially long hours during a fast-paced event.

On-site duties include coordinating trailers, furniture, floral maintenance, painting and logistics while following safety and conduct standards. A housing option may be offered if available.

Qualifications

There are (2) available timeframes for this position: 3/18/2027 - 6/2/2027 4/26/2027 - 6/2/2027. We will discuss your preferred option during the interview process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Assistants will help the PGA Championship Operations Staff in the construction, daily operation and deconstruction of the Championship. While on-site at PGA Frisco, you will get a “behind the scenes glimpse” of a major golf championship. This position requires a strong work ethic, since most of the jobs are labor intensive. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: trailer placement, furniture distribution, floral maintenance, painting, wind screening, organizing and unloading deliveries and assisting vendors. A successful Championship is dependent upon your willingness to learn, ability to make informed decisions and cooperatively working as a team. Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. This is a deadline-driven event, and you must be able to work long hours, outdoors, and weekends. It is imperative to act professionally because you will represent the PGA Championship staff. This is a paid position, and all Operations Assistants will be employed on a temporary basis. All applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and provide their own transportation. A PGA housing option may be offered if available. Operations Assistants may be responsible for all or part of the housing cost. Lunch, beverages and Championship uniforms will be provided for each working day.
