Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and maintenance.
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives related to store activities and merchandise receipt/returns.
• Assisting in staffing, sales floor management, cashiering, merchandising, and expense control.
• Ensuring store displays, signage, and seasonal areas are effective and well-maintained.
• Supporting the management of store supplies and promotional programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
