Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to ensure cash handling practices are followed.
• Ensure promotional displays and seasonal areas are effective and well-maintained.
• Coordinate signage and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Assist with merchandising, checkout area, and impulse sales maximization.
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including program racks and promotional items.
• Support the Drive Item program management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
