Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Ensure store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Support staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily
• Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling guidelines are followed
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays
• Manage seasonal areas and merchandise displays
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily
• Support Drive Item program management

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
