Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional, friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Ensuring store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
7. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
8. Processing store directives and communications, including merchandise receipt and return.
9. Assisting with staffing, sales floor management, cashiering, merchandising, and supplies management.
10. Managing promotional displays and seasonal areas for sales effectiveness.
11. Creating weekly schedules and managing store expenses.
12. Refilling store displays and ensuring proper signage and merchandising.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
