Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is not present, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness on the sales floor daily
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling practices are followed
• Coordinate signage and promotional displays
• Manage store supplies and control expenses
• Maintain merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including seasonal and promotional items
• Assist in creating weekly staff schedules

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
