Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Ensuring store cleanliness and organization, including stockroom and sales floor recovery.
7. Providing direct supervision of hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
8. Processing directives related to store activities and merchandise management.
9. Assisting with staffing, merchandising, and sales strategies to maximize store performance.
10. Managing cash handling practices and promotional displays.
11. Assisting with schedule creation and expense control.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
