Responsibilities

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Perform store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Handle opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Provide supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following company policies.
• Ensure proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, adhering to cash handling practices.
• Maintain promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise replenishment.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supply management.
• Maintain checkout area for impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
