Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
• Providing direct supervision for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing corporate directives related to store activities, merchandise, and communications.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Managing store displays, seasonal areas, signage, and promotional fixtures.
• Handling damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
• Maintaining checkout area to maximize impulse sales and refilling store-front displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
