Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Supporting store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Overseeing store displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
• Processing damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area to maximize impulse sales and refilling store-front program racks daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
