Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on the front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives like Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Managing promotional displays, seasonal areas, signage, and merchandise replenishment.
• Creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
