Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect store assets, including cash, and adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure store cleanliness and organization, including stockroom and sales floor.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates.
• Process directives related to store activities, including merchandise receipt, return, and damaged goods handling.
• Assist with staffing, merchandising, signage, and store displays.
• Manage cashiering activities and ensure compliance with cash handling practices.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
