Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to policies, safety guidelines, and maintaining a professional environment.
• Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery efforts.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise following policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing and sales effectiveness on the sales floor daily.
• Managing cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices.
• Optimizing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
• Managing store supplies and controlling expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area to maximize impulse sales and refilling store displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
