Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
4. Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
11. Manage cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Coordinate signage, manage seasonal displays, and merchandise the store effectively.
13. Handle damaged merchandise daily.
14. Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing supplies and expenses.
15. Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales.
16. Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
