Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Helping with hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Executing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
• Providing direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities in accordance with company cash handling practices.
• Enhancing promotional displays and managing seasonal store areas.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
• Processing damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area to maximize impulse sales and ensuring store displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
