Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
7. When the Store Manager is not on the premises, have direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist in receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness of the sales floor daily.
11. Manage cashiering activities to ensure cash handling guidelines are followed.
12. Coordinate signage and manage seasonal areas and promotional displays.
13. Process damaged merchandise daily.
14. Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
15. Maintain the checkout area and merchandise displays to maximize impulse sales.
16. Refill coolers and store-front displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
