Responsibilities: Assisting with operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations. Also involved in hiring, training, and developing store associates.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
4. Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
7. When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and store communications.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
11. Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling practices are followed.
12. Coordinate signage and promotional displays.
13. Manage store supplies and expenses.
14. Maintain checkout area and store-front displays to maximize sales.
15. Refill coolers and displays daily.
16. Assist with weekly scheduling.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
