Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Enhancing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Managing signage, merchandise, and store supplies to maximize sales and control expenses.
• Refilling coolers and displays daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and store expense management.

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
