Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting the hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery and stockroom management.
• Providing direct supervision of hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing all corporate directives and store communications.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including damaged goods.
• Supporting staffing, sales, cashiering, and merchandising efforts.
• Managing store supplies and expenses.
• Ensuring store displays and signage are effective and updated daily.
• Creating weekly schedules in collaboration with the Store Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferably prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
