Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Overseeing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to meet company standards.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives related to store activities, merchandise receipt and return, and damaged goods.
• Assisting with staffing coverage, sales floor management, cashiering, merchandising, and supplies management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
