Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Maintaining store areas to company standards.
9. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
11. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing staffing, and ensuring sales effectiveness.
12. Managing cashiering activities and ensuring cash handling guidelines are followed.
13. Managing store displays, signage, and seasonal areas.
14. Assisting with merchandise management, including damaged goods.
15. Creating weekly schedules and managing supplies and expenses.
16. Maintaining checkout area to maximize sales and refilling store displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
