Responsibilities

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communicate related store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling practices are followed.
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Assist with merchandising, maintaining the checkout area, and refilling displays.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing seasonal store areas.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
