Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, in company-standard condition, including recovery tasks.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
11. Ensure the sales floor is effective daily.
12. Manage cashiering activities, following cash handling practices and guidelines.
13. Support promotional displays and seasonal areas.
14. Coordinate signage use in the store.
15. Manage store supplies and control expenses.
16. Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize impulse sales.
17. Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
