Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers and staff
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Implement corporate directives and communicate related store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness
• Manage cashiering activities and cash handling procedures
• Maintain promotional displays and signage
• Manage seasonal store areas and merchandise displays
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management
• Maintain checkout area to maximize sales and ensure product replenishment

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
