Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and related store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Assist in managing cashiering activities following cash handling guidelines.
• Support promotional displays and seasonal area management.
• Coordinate signage and ensure store displays are effective.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
