Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process store directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supply management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
