Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery.
7. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
8. Processing store directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and damaged goods processing.
10. Supporting staffing coverage, sales floor management, and cash handling procedures.
11. Managing store displays, signage, and seasonal areas for promotional effectiveness.
12. Assisting with scheduling, supplies, and expense control.
13. Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
