Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store staff.
  3. Performing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  4. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
  5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  6. Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and stockroom.
  7. Supervising hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
  8. Processing directives related to store activities, merchandise receipt, and returns.
  9. Assisting with staffing, sales floor management, cash handling, merchandising, and supplies management.
  10. Ensuring store displays and promotional materials are effective and replenished daily.
  11. Creating weekly schedules and managing store expenses.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior retail and management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
