Responsibilities

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, up to company standards.
• Provide direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Process all corporate directives and related communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and seasonal areas to maximize sales.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise displays.
• Process damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales and ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
