Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, in company-standard condition, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is unavailable, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities according to cash handling practices.
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal areas for sales effectiveness.
• Coordinate signage and ensure store displays are replenished daily.
• Assist with weekly schedule creation and managing store supplies and expenses.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
