Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
• When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities following cash handling practices.
• Coordinate signage and manage seasonal displays.
• Assist with merchandise management, including damaged goods processing.
• Help create weekly schedules and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
