Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing opening and closing procedures in absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery.
7. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
8. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
10. Ensuring proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness.
11. Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Maintaining store displays and signage, and managing seasonal areas.
13. Processing damaged merchandise and managing supplies and expenses.
14. Assisting with merchandising and checkout area management.
15. Refilling coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
