Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting the hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing staffing coverage, and ensuring sales effectiveness.
• Overseeing cashiering activities, store displays, seasonal areas, signage, and merchandise management.
• Supporting scheduling, supplies management, expense control, and merchandising efforts.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
