Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
5. Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Maintaining store standards, including stockroom and sales floor recovery.
7. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
8. Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, ensuring compliance with policies.
10. Managing staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
11. Overseeing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Managing store displays, seasonal areas, signage, and merchandising.
13. Handling damaged merchandise daily.
14. Assisting with weekly scheduling, supplies management, and expense control.
15. Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.
16. Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
