Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assisting with hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including damaged goods.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Managing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
• Maintaining checkout areas and store displays to maximize sales.
• Refilling coolers and program racks daily.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
