Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations, as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process directives like Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Assist in managing sales effectiveness and cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling guidelines are followed.
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise displays.
• Process damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including balloon programs, sunglasses, batteries, etc.

Minimum requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
