Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring compliance with cash handling practices.
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including seasonal and promotional items.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
